For Sanford Health, recruiting health care professionals is serious business. Employees are responsible for the lives of patients on a daily basis, and skilled medical professionals are essential to the workings of the organization. However, finding these highly trained individuals to fill unique health care positions quickly can be a challenge. DirectEmployers’ Digital Strategy team helped Sanford Health create a more robust career site that would be flexible to their growing needs. The goal of their Recruitment Marketing Solutions was to attract qualified talent, add style and creative branding to the job search process, and keep it simple for candidates to apply.

Flexible Branding Template

The flexible branding template allowed us to really build out Sanford’s site and include features on the homepage such as a “Featured Jobs” section, an interactive jobs map, internships, volunteer opportunities and more. There are also multiple static pages on topics such as Working at Sanford and Benefits to show candidates what they can expect as an employee. The pages include images from around the office, employee outings and community service events.

Location Focused Career Sites

Tailored candidate experience for job seekers looking for employment in North Dakota.

Tailored candidate experience for job seekers looking for employment in South Dakota.

Many job seekers begin their search based on where the jobs are located. With the built in jobs map, they can visually see where all of the available positions are. Candidates can also narrow down their job search and see some examples of what different offices look like on the branded out state-specific domains such as North Dakota and South Dakota.

Job seekers are able to filter their search by career fields such as nursing, corporate, customer service and others for a more personalized experience.

Military Crosswalk & Translator Tools

We also built a site dedicated toward veteran hiring initiatives and the site includes a Military Skills Translator. This feature easily allows candidates to match Sanford Health’s jobs with their military experience.
