“Candee Chambers is a recognized expert in compliance and has grown DirectEmployers’ compliance revenues by more than 75% since she joined the team in 2013. The Board is thrilled to have Candee break the glass ceiling as the Association’s first female Executive Director and bring her success with compliance to the overall organization and bridge the gap between recruiting and compliance. By expanding recruitment tools developed with Heather Hoffman, Vice President of the Association’s Digital Strategy team and helping member companies improve their sourcing strategies, DirectEmployers will continue to be an invaluable resource for its current and prospective members.”

Ms. Chambers is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and a 30-year Human Resources veteran. A nationally renowned speaker, trainer and consultant heading the Association’s Compliance and Partnership team in Indianapolis, Chambers previously served as the Deputy Executive Director. During her Human Resources career, Ms. Chambers created and managed co-op engineering outreach and recruitment programs and has also managed affirmative action programs for Ohio-based American Electric Power Corporation (AEP) and Cardinal Health Corporation where she successfully defended over 100 government contractor audits throughout the country.

“I have always said that working at DirectEmployers is my dream job. This latest promotion is the fulfillment of 30 years of professional preparation, and I am grateful to the Board of Directors for their confidence in me after yet another very successful year of membership growth,” commented Candee Chambers, the Association’s newly named Executive Director. “I am honored to have this opportunity and very much look forward to the exciting year ahead–starting with our Annual Meeting & Conference this coming May in Indianapolis, Indiana where, we plan on announcing new recruitment and compliance service offerings.”

In addition to leading DirectEmployers day-to-day activities, Chambers will kick off the Association’s 2017 Annual Meeting & Conference as the event emcee, and share her vision for the Association’s future.
