The countdown is on for DirectEmployers 2017 Annual Meeting & Conference (DEAM17), taking place in our hometown of Indianapolis in just two weeks! With a program packed with sessions focusing on OFCCP compliance, recruitment marketing and sourcing, as well as plenty of networking opportunities, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed as an attendee. In an effort to help you prepare, we’ve compiled some tips for making the most of our conference.
Get the App
For your convenience, everything you need to know during the conference can be found in the new DE Events mobile app, available for both Apple and Android devices. This free download contains the full agenda where you can choose the sessions you would like to attend and maintain a personal schedule to keep you on track during the conference. In addition, you can rate the sessions you attend, view the attendee and presenter directories, send messages and even find places to eat and things to do nearby!
Prior to the conference, we encourage you to complete your profile and upload a photo so your peers can easily find you – and we also ask that you share your conference photos not only on social using #DEAM17, but within the app as well!

Have Fun With Us
On Wednesday night from 8:00 – 11:00 PM, we’re leaving the conference space and heading to Punch Bowl Social for an exclusive event complete with appetizers, drinks and fun! Here you will have the opportunity to mingle with fellow attendees while playing billiards, ping pong, cornhole, bocce ball, arcade games, bowling and giant wall scrabble. Plus, no evening is complete without karaoke! No RSVP necessary–just show up in your best casual attire and be sure to bring your conference badge for admission!

During the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to have their questions answered by our OFCCP compliance experts Candee Chambers, John C. Fox and Joyce Morgan. Please click here to provide any compliance-related questions you would like to potentially have answered during their open Q&A session no later than Friday, May 5.

Tired of ink pens and stress balls? Want to choose your own swag? This year we’re adding even more fun to the conference and giving attendees the opportunity to earn swag – really cool swag! How? Back by popular demand–the DEAM17 photo booth! Stop by anytime on Wednesday from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM to have a professional headshot taken for free. *Photos will be emailed within a few weeks after the conference.
