Indianapolis-based nonprofit, DirectEmployers Association, collaborates with Google as a job content provider on its new job search feature.

DirectEmployers Press ReleaseDirectEmployers Association, an Indianapolis-based trade association focused on providing cost-effective OFCCP compliance and recruitment marketing solutions to employers, announced today its plans to collaborate as a job content provider for Google’s new job search experience. As a result of the Association’s participation, jobs from over 900 Member companies will now be accessible directly by searching for jobs on Google.

Founded by 14 leading employers in 2001, DirectEmployers has expanded its services over the years from a small online recruitment provider to a full-service suite of products and services that assist employers in reducing online recruitment costs, complying with federal contractor obligations and regaining ownership of their recruitment brand. In addition to the job distribution provided to hundreds of partner organizations, state job banks and the Association’s own .JOBS Network, this new collaboration with Google provides full coverage and reach for Members’ open positions, helping recruiters reduce their time-to-fill metrics.

“The Association’s driving mission has always been to connect employers and job seekers, and by working with Google, we are able to provide our Members with enhanced job visibility and a better link to qualified candidates,” said Shannon Offord, DirectEmployers’ Director of Strategic Partnerships. “We are happy to be collaborating with Google as they take initial steps into the recruitment space.”

With trillions of searches happening every year on Google Search, job seekers can now explore employment opportunities directly within the search results, and have the ability to filter and refine their search process–including at-a-glance and detailed job information within the results. This new feature will also offer saved search and alert features that allow job seekers to step away from their search and still stay in the loop with new opportunities via email notification. By participating in this initiative, DirectEmployers Members will gain additional exposure to relevant job seekers who begin their search on Google, as well as the opportunity to expand their brand awareness.

About DirectEmployers Association

DirectEmployers Association is a nonprofit member-owned and managed association formed in 2001 by 14 leading Fortune 500 companies searching for a way to reduce recruiting costs, while regaining ownership of their recruitment brand. Through collaboration with these individuals, DirectEmployers developed proprietary technology that has since led to the creation of our flagship product—a federal contractor compliance solution that assists with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program’s (OFCCP) VEVRAA mandatory listing requirements and Section 503 regulations. Now with over 875 employers varying in industry and size, we’ve expanded our Member benefits to include a Partner Relationship Manager (PRM), networking and educational opportunities and fully customizable Recruitment Marketing Solutions.
