Frequently Asked Questions
What is 41 CFR Part 60 compliance reporting?
41 CFR Part 60 compliance reporting generally refers to the records, documentation, and reporting activities associated with federal contractor obligations under the regulations in 41 CFR Chapter 60, which are administered primarily by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). It is not a single report or filing. DirectEmployers Association supports specific compliance activities through VEVRAA job listing services, job delivery reports, outreach management tools, compliance resources, and practical guidance.
Who needs 41 CFR Part 60 compliance reporting services?
Federal contractors and subcontractors with applicable OFCCP obligations may benefit from compliance reporting support. Requirements vary based on factors such as contract type, contract value, and workforce size. DirectEmployers Association helps employers manage VEVRAA job listing documentation, reporting, and outreach records through solutions suited to their hiring needs.
How does DirectEmployers Association support VEVRAA mandatory job listing compliance?
DirectEmployers Association supports VEVRAA mandatory job listing compliance through electronic acquisition and delivery of covered job openings to the appropriate Employment Service Delivery System (ESDS), including American Job Centers where applicable. Job delivery reports document listing activity and can help employers maintain consistent records of their job distribution processes.
DirectEmployers also maintains data-sharing agreements with job banks across all 50 states and four U.S. territories. These agreements streamline job listing activity by allowing employers to distribute openings through established connections without creating and maintaining separate employer logins for job banks in each state and U.S. territory.
What documentation is typically needed for OFCCP reporting?
Documentation depends on the applicable requirements and the scope of any review or request. For the activities DirectEmployers Association supports, records may include job delivery confirmations, distribution reports, and documented outreach communications and assessments. These records support specific aspects of compliance and may form part of a broader set of documentation maintained by the employer.
Can these services help with Section 503 compliance?
Yes. DirectEmployers Association supports Section 503 compliance efforts through practical guidance, educational resources, and tools that help employers connect with vocational rehabilitation counselors and document disability outreach activities. These resources help employers strengthen their disability inclusion efforts and support applicable federal contractor obligations.
Do these services support VEVRAA requirements?
Yes. DirectEmployers Association supports applicable VEVRAA requirements through services such as VetCentral and VEVRAA mandatory job listing support. These solutions help employers deliver covered job openings to the appropriate Employment Service Delivery System (ESDS), connect with veteran-focused employment resources, and maintain records of job listing and outreach activities that can support their VEVRAA compliance processes.
What kind of support is available after implementation?
DirectEmployers Association offers unlimited product support and training, expert guidance, and access to a peer-driven online community. Rather than relying on an automated help desk, members receive responsive support from a knowledgeable, award-winning team familiar with OFCCP compliance workflows, recruitment marketing, job distribution, and reporting challenges faced by federal contractors.
Which compliance package is right for my organization?
DirectEmployers Association offers scalable solutions for different needs, including OFCCP Compliance Essentials, Professional, and Enterprise. Smaller employers with limited job volume may need a focused, self-service package, while larger federal contractors with multi-state hiring needs may require broader automation, reporting, job distribution, and outreach management tools found in Membership. The team can help align services with your HR compliance needs and hiring volume.
