A hiring audit is a structured review of recruiting, applicant tracking, job posting, selection, outreach, and recordkeeping practices. For federal contractors, it may focus on whether hiring processes align with applicable OFCCP requirements, including equal employment opportunity, nondiscrimination, VEVRAA mandatory job listings, and documentation. The goal is to identify compliance gaps before an OFCCP compliance evaluation.
