Deliver covered openings to the appropriate Employment Service Delivery Systems (ESDS) through reliable electronic processes that reduce manual effort and create documentation for audit readiness.

DirectEmployers Association helps federal contractors support these obligations and strengthen veteran recruitment through job distribution, VetCentral, the National Labor Exchange (NLx), outreach tools, established partnerships, and expert HR compliance guidance built for complex, nationwide hiring programs.

Under VEVRAA, protected veterans generally include disabled veterans, recently separated veterans, active duty wartime or campaign badge veterans, and Armed Forces service medal veterans. Federal contractors use the applicable protected veteran categories when addressing VEVRAA requirements, including affirmative action obligations, voluntary self-identification, outreach and positive recruitment activities, and evaluation and documentation of those efforts.
