DirectEmployers 2016 Annual Meeting & Conference (DEAM16) is rapidly approaching, reminding us of our hometown roots and it’s history in racing. This year’s conference is all about honoring the past – and while we celebrate 15 years at DirectEmployers, Indiana observes its bicentennial and the 100th running of the Indy 500. What better way to celebrate than by taking a ride in an IndyCar?

On Thursday evening, DEAM16 attendees will head west of the conference location to the Dallara IndyCar Factory, located just 1/3 of a mile southwest of the world famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway. A joint venture between the IndyCar Experience and Italian IndyCar manufacturer, Dallara Automobili, the 23,000 square foot facility not only houses a museum, but a factory where cars are made on the premises, and a two and a half mile oval track.

Upon arrival, our attendees will be treated with drinks and hors oeuvres before exploring hands-on exhibits that teach the science and technology behind IndyCar, experiencing the HP VantagePoint Touch Wall which displays the Automobili history, and enjoying a video in the theater. They will also have the opportunity to test both full car and box cart simulators equipped with iRacing and of course, the exclusive chance to take a ride around the Dallara track in a street-legal IndyCar two-seater at exhilarating speeds. Of course, attendees won’t go home empty-handed – they will also have their photo taken with an IndyCar to commemorate the experience!

There’s still time to register for the conference and reserve your spot at this exciting event. We hope you’ll join us in the Racing Capital of the World this May 18-20 for learning, networking and of course, a little fun!
