On Tuesday, August 4, DirectEmployers Association will be featured at the inaugural Easter Seals Impact Forum, a free networking luncheon followed by virtual forum, educating association members on OFCCP compliance guidelines and regulations, and sharing resources and best practices for recruiting and retaining veterans and people with disabilities.

Held in Chicago at the Willis Tower, this event will begin promptly at 12:00 PM CT with a networking luncheon giving the attendees a chance to network with executive members of the Easter Seals staff, DirectEmployers Members and other human resources professionals from the Chicagoland area. Immediately following the luncheon at 1:00 PM CT, Easter Seals President and Chief Executive Officer, Randy Rutta, and Candee Chambers, DirectEmployers VP of Compliance and Partnerships, will conduct a virtual Impact Forum highlighting OFCCP compliance guidelines and regulations, Easter Seals Workforce Solutions resources and discuss upcoming opportunities Members can take part in–including The Veterans Institute Heroes Work Here Conference taking place November 3, 2015.

Not only will this event help employers develop a deeper understanding of Easter Seals and how they can partner with this organization, federal contractors attending this event can use it to show positive outreach efforts to veterans and individuals with disabilities. Members outside the Chicagoland area are encouraged to attend the virtual presentation to gain insight into the partnership and federal contractor obligations. Spots are limited for both the luncheon and live forum presentation so individuals are encouraged to register to attend at their earliest convenience. Event registration will close on Sunday, August 2, 2015.
