What does your workspace look like?

What does a day on the job look like for you?

Lots of meetings and phone calls with business leaders and recruiting managers. Since we are a global company many are moving to Skype.

How do you get your day started?

Shower, get kids ready for school, hot tea, read the Bible and Wall Street Journal, go to work

What is your favorite social media platform and why?

I like Facebook; it is the only platform that I keep “personal”. I really enjoy seeing updates from family and friends.

What do you like to do for fun?

Read, play sports, hang out with family

Generally I don’t, but it would be 80-90’s alternative if I did

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

I have the privilege to work with very smart people all around the world. I learn something (usually several things) every day.

iPhone

Miss Peregrin’s Home for Peculiar Children. It was really good

Almost finished with Inferno

Best job advice you ever received?

Be a business leader who happens to know a lot about talent. Your goal should be that the business leaders ask your advice on any issue that arises.

What is your non-HR dream job?

Shortstop for the Kansas City Royals

What’s your favorite thing about being a member of the DirectEmployers Board of Directors?

I get to interact with smart, dedicated people who are passionate about their jobs.

What is your favorite thing about attending DEAM?

I get to meet other Members in person and also learn from industry experts.
