DirectEmployers is continuously refining and developing new tools and features, always with the end goal of benefitting employers and improving labor market efficiencies around the globe. Check out some highlights from our latest release cycle:
Partner Relationship Manger (PRM) Notifications
PRM users now receive a notification when a partner (e.g. vet rep) unsubscribes from receiving a job feed (saved search). This will help maintain outreach efforts and let you know immediately when partners change their subscriber options. There’s also an alert notification in the top navigation when logged into PRM so you can see new messages. To learn more, receive additional training or provide feedback, please contact your Member Development Representative.
Updated Military Crosswalk
The Military Occupational Classification (MOC) crosswalk was recently updated by the Department of Defense, resulting in over 10,000 MOC occupations linked to related O*NET-SOC occupations. Our military crosswalk tool was updated accordingly to help transitioning military personnel discover relevant civilian occupations and careers. One of the most visible improvements to the mappings is in relation to Infantry Military Codes/Skills. Previously 11B only returned security guard positions, however it now aligns to over 100,000 jobs! You can view the updated version on Veterans.jobs.
Flexible Job Filters
Microsite filters used to be limited to country, state, city, job title and one wildcard option. Companies can now put up to three different wildcard filters per site such as Job Category, Business Unit, Job Type, Job Schedule, Job Shift and Top Searches. This is extremely beneficial for search engine optimization (SEO) and adds the flexibility to highlight specific opportunities. Here are some Members taking advantage of these Flexible Job Filters:
- Cummins-US.jobs (Can filter by Job Category & Job Type)
- CBScorporation.jobs (Can filter by Business Unit & Job Type)
- Providence-Nursing.jobs (Can filter by Job Category, Job Schedule, & Job Shift)
Jobs Map
Several companies wanted to visually engage job seekers while quickly showcasing locations with current openings. As a direct result of that feedback, we have launched a Jobs Map that’s both customizable and responsive to mobile devices. Tracking is also included to help you understand the user flow, conversion rate and source. Check out Gold’s Gym or Mastercard career sites to see how companies are benefiting from this new feature.
Thank you to all of the Members who have helped us along the way, and kudos to the DirectEmployers Product Development Team for their hard work.
