Corporate America Supports You (CASY) today announced that Shannon Offord, Manager of Strategic Partnerships at DirectEmployers has been appointed to CASY’s Board of Directors.
In 2010, DirectEmployers Association became CASY’s first funder and partner, and Executive Director Bill Warren joined CASY’s founding Board of Directors. With his support, DirectEmployers Association helped CASY integrate the National Labor Exchange (NLx) into CASY’s IBM Brassring system, which serves as the CASY’s internal technology core. Shannon Offord now holds this Board seat as the representative for DirectEmployers Association.
A graduate of Anderson University, Offord has over 18 years of experience in human resources and online recruiting. He is currently responsible for building and maintaining the Association’s strategic relationships with a myriad of recruitment, nonprofit and government entities.
Regarding Offord’s joining the CASY Board, Senior Executive Vice President Stacy Bayton, a USMC and US Coast Guard veteran explained, “CASY and DirectEmployers have a long and important history. They provided a great deal of support and assistance as we integrated the National Labor Exchange into our IBM Brassring system and developed the National Guard Employment Network. They remain committed to our mission and to aiding us in identifying technological advances that will continue to allow us to force multiply our efforts and serve the military and veteran community. Shannon has and continues to be a big part of all of this, and we are proud to have him on the board.”
Offord will be joining fellow DirectEmployers executive Simone Murray on CASY’s Board of Directors. Simone Murray is the Executive Director of the DirectEmployers Institute.
Offord said, “I’m extremely honored and excited to join the CASY board and look forward to helping them build on the success they’ve had over the last 6 years.”
