“Diversity & Inclusion” means many things, but what it boils down to is equal opportunity and fair treatment for all, especially in the workplace. As many companies begin to ramp up their DE&I efforts as a result of last summer’s push for justice and social reform, DiversityInc has released its 2021 list of Top 50 Companies for Diversity. The selected companies went through a rigorous and thorough screening process (including a 200-question survey, wow!) to measure their performance in a number of human capital diversity metrics, including leadership accountability, talent programs, workplace practices, supplier diversity efforts and overall corporate philanthropy.
Upon viewing the list, we were thrilled to learn that 64% of the honorees are DirectEmployers Members (denoted with an asterisk below)! Let’s take a look at this year’s ranking:
Congratulations to all the employers who earned this special distinction this year! List or no list, let’s all keep working towards re-building a more diverse and inclusive workforce, because at the end of the day, it’s all about making a difference and building a better future!
