DirectEmployers Association has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2021 honor by Indianapolis Star. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC.
“Being named a Top Workplace in Central Indiana has been a goal of mine since taking over as executive director in 2017,” commented Candee Chambers, DirectEmployers Executive Director. “Being intentional with cultural changes has not only contributed to this win but has helped us retain the incredible staff we have in place as we’ve grown. This award is especially monumental because 2021 marks our 20th anniversary and our employees were the judges who helped us achieve this recognition. Their feedback will also help us continue to evolve our culture and become even stronger for years to come.”
Only 89 companies made this year’s list out of all the organizations who participated, and DirectEmployers ranked in 16th place in the Small Business Category. In the fall of 2020, an anonymous survey was sent to staff members within the DirectEmployers Family of Brands. The survey uniquely measured 15 cultural drivers that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, to name a few.
