Rich Hobbie has retired as the Executive Director of the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA). Under Rich’s leadership, NASWA partnered with DirectEmployers Association to form the unique public-private partnership known as the National Labor Exchange (NLx).
A reception was held in Rich’s honor at the Rayburn Office Building in Washington, D.C. where House Representatives meet and work and where he began his career in public service. Rich’s leadership will be missed as was witnessed by the many individuals who attended the reception to honor his lifetime of service.
Assuming the role of NASWA’s Executive Director is Scott Sanders, formerly Commissioner of the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
As proud partners of NASWA, DirectEmployers Association would like to give Rich a hearty farewell and an enthusiastic welcome to Scott!
