Deanna Cross, PHR, SHRM-CP

VP of Human Resources

Deanna Cross serves as Vice President of Human Resources at DirectEmployers Association, where she is a key member of the Executive Team. In this role, she serves as the Association’s dedicated HR department, providing comprehensive support across all human resources functions for more than 80 employees across DirectEmployers and Recruit Rooster.

Since joining DirectEmployers in 2010, Deanna’s responsibilities have expanded to encompass the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through career development and employee engagement. She brings a well-rounded professional background to her work and holds both PHR and SHRM-CP certifications. With extensive experience in office administration and a strong foundation in insurance, Deanna is well-equipped to manage day-to-day office operations, making her an essential resource for staff and leadership alike.

Outside the office, Deanna enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband of 36 years, their three adult children, and six grandchildren.
