VP of Digital Strategy
Heather Hoffman is the Vice President of Digital Strategy at DirectEmployers Association. With enthusiasm, honesty and 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, Heather leads a department of skilled Digital Strategists and Creative Consultants which oversee the implementation, promotion and education that surround the Association’s recruitment marketing solutions utilized by over 800 of DirectEmployers Association Member companies.
As a former business owner, Heather prides herself on her exceptional listening skills, taking the Member feedback she receives and translating it into additional features and actionable opportunities for the Association. Prior to joining DirectEmployers, Heather gained in-depth professional experiences revolved around entrepreneurship, direct and temporary placement. She has a range of accomplishments from building a successful small business model to managing multiple branches, sales teams, recruiters, and responding to the needs of 300+ clients within various industries such as light industrial, manufacturing, clerical, professional, and IT.
These experiences have equipped her to understand employer’s challenges face with online recruitment and talent acquisition. Heather is passionate and dedicated to creating Member-driven products that combine unique digital strategies aligned with creativity and innovation practices. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer and Family Sciences from Purdue University. Outside of the office, Heather can be found spending time with her family, which include her husband, son, and daughter.
