May is National Military Appreciation Month, a time to recognize and honor those who are currently serving, have previously served, and those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in pursuit of freedom and peace.
It’s a privilege for DirectEmployers Association to be based in a city that does so much to preserve and salute the military. Indianapolis is second only to Washington D.C. in acreage and number of monuments dedicated to veterans. It’s also home to the national and state headquarters of the American Legion. Indiana represents the 4th largest National Guard contingent in the United States.
DirectEmployers would like to thank and honor our nation’s heroes. Above, in addition to the signs, you’ll notice some of our team holding photos of friends and family who served or are currently serving. I’d also like to recognize fellow DirectEmployers staff for their service to our country: Bill Warren, David Caudill, Ron Craig, Jason McLaughlin and Mike Seidle.
As we enter Memorial Day weekend, during your travels and festivities, please take time to pay tribute to those who have made it possible for us to enjoy our freedom. We must never forget these men and women, nor their families.
