You’re a busy bee if your role touches any aspect of OFCCP compliance within your organization, as great responsibility comes with the privilege of being a federal contractor. For starters you have to comply with the following sets of regulations:

You also have to stay on top of these regulations as they change. Case in point – in March of 2014, new VEVRAA and Section 503 regulations went into effect requiring federal contractors to maintain and track records of positive partner outreach and recruitment activities. In other words, federal contractors could no longer just rely on a list of sites on which jobs were posted, but instead must build local / meaningful relationships with groups & organizations in order to stay compliant.

PRM Blog ImageWe spent a lot of time educating and preparing our Members for this significant change, and developed a new tool called the Partner Relationship Manager (PRM) to help. The PRM provided Members with an immediate solution to assist with tracking their outreach and activities. Better yet, there was no extra cost since it’s part of membership.

In a nutshell, PRM is a web-based platform where users can enter, access and store this data, regardless of their device or location. The developers even made sure it was responsive (meaning you can easily view on a desktop or mobile device), and included the ability for users to download reports – which could be extremely valuable in an audit. Regardless of centralized or decentralized team structures, it’s a great way to streamline your efforts.

Fast-forward two years. We have continuously collaborated with Members to advance the PRM to serve the diverse needs of our 800+ companies. Everything from account permissions to user interface has been adjusted and we recently announced a new User Management functionality. This application lets you control which of your staff can access portions of your organization’s My.jobs account (PRM resides on the My.jobs platform). One admin role is required, but aside from that, you can limit or authorize several activities within the platform.

AJ Selvey, AVP, Membership Development and Jason Sole, Director of Production, hosted a brief webinar to walk Members through this new feature and discussed what lies ahead. If you’re a Member and weren’t able to attend, please check out the recording in DE Connect.
