On July 3, 2013, the entirety of the U.S. Department of Labor’s regulatory agenda and regulatory plan statement was made available online at www.regulations.gov.
Plans by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) are to publish their final ruling in July 2013 on the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974 (VEVRAA) and section 503 which includes Federal contractor’s obligations of outreach, record keeping and distribution of their jobs to vulnerable classes including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities. Speculation is that the OFCCP will be making this final ruling announcement at the Industry Liaison Group (ILG) National Conference to be held in Indianapolis, IN on July 29 – August 2, 2013.
