Tom Eckhart

Acting Executive Director

Tom Eckhart is the Acting Executive Director at DirectEmployers Association. In this role, he supports the company’s 80+ employees across eight departments, guiding the continual development of OFCCP compliance and DEI solutions for Members of the Association. As one of the longest-standing DirectEmployers staff Members, Tom has helped build the Association from the ground up, previously serving as the Senior Vice President of Membership Development where he led the talented teams of both Membership Development and Member Engagement. For more than two decades, he worked directly with Members and prospects to help them gain a better understanding of OFCCP compliance regulations pertaining to VEVRAA and Section 503 regulations, and elevated his teams to be viewed as unparalleled solution providers with award-winning customer service and support.

Through the Association’s growth, Tom has been instrumental in building awareness of DirectEmployers and furthering development of the Association’s service offerings, and as a result, brings extensive industry knowledge to his role as Acting Executive Director. Prior to joining the team at DirectEmployers, Tom honed his sales skills as a Regional Sales Manager at Monster Worldwide and a Customer Service Representative and Sales Trainer at Deluxe Corporation for more than 20 years combined. When not hard at work, Tom enjoys playing in local golf and bowling leagues, and cheering on his favorite teams, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Indianapolis Colts.
