The Importance of Accessibility in Online Job Seeking

As part of our all-encompassing program at the DirectEmployers 2015 Annual Meeting & Conference (DEAM15) this past May, we had the honor of having Josh Christianson and Joiwind Ronen from the Partnership on Employment & Accessible Technology (PEAT) speak to our attendees. The goal of their session? To help attendees understand the importance of accessibility in widening their diverse talent pool.

DEAM14 Keynote: Meet John Robinson

Every day people with disabilities face challenges and obstacles, many of which are daily norms that much of society takes for granted. John Robinson–born a congenital amputee–is one individual whose disability has been a challenge throughout life, but his remarkable tenacity, talent and faith has led him to succeed not only in business and building a family, but also in life. His inspirational story “Get Off Your Knees” will show attendees what determination looks like as he describes how he overcame his disability and created an extraordinary life for himself.
